Bollywood
actress and Indian classical dancer Anjana B has been signed on for a
Hollywood film along with a well-known Bollywood A-category actor (whose
name we must not take - at least for now) which goes on floors in
mid-June. The movie which will be shot at various locales like Scotland,
Thailand and in southern parts of India including Kerala, Goa and
Pondicherry, has excerpts of the Kamasutra entwined into its script and
will have ample doses of steamy or bold scenes, which will be very
aesthetically shot, sources told IndyaNewz.com.
Anjana
recently did a shoot for the film publicity material with veteran
Hollywood director David S Wolfe in a wet white sari - a la Mandakini in
the Raj Kapoor film Ram Teri Ganga Maili. While we are now in 2014 -
almost 30 years after Ram Teri Ganga Maili released in 1985, the wet
white sari cannot fail to titillate even today.
According to an IndyaNewz.com report,
the sole news agency authorised by director David S Wolfe to
exclusively cover the shoot, "The security was really tight on the day
of the shoot. The director did not allow any media persons on the sets
at a well-guarded sea-facing 5 star resort on Cadolim beach in North Goa
- there were almost 20 private security guards posted around the
premises to make sure any paparazzi did not breach the confidential
shoot. The location was kept under wraps and the entire cast and crew
were not told of the exact location. "We just knew that we had to reach
St Anthony's Chapel on the Candolim beach road. After that a unit van
took us to the location," said a photographer who accompanied the IndyaNewz.com
team, adding, "there were 6-8 hollywood actors also present on the sets
and the phirangs did not mix much with the Indian crew and unit."
The
hot Bengali bombshell has acted in films like Zilla Gaziabad, Right Ya
Wrong, Chashme Baddoor and has done ad films like Vithoba dantmanjan,
Nmart, Zalim lotion, Kabjamrut, etc., besides is a full-time Bharat
Natayam and Kathak dancer and instructor.
David Wolfe is the producer of Weeping Shadow Films from Sussex, Great Britain.
